Q: I am running the EFM32 in EM2, but the energyAware Profiler shows about 90 µA, not 900 nA.

A: Follow these steps to make sure you measure the correct current consumption:

1) Make sure you have the latest firmware installed on your kit by following these steps.

2) Enabling the Serial Wire Output (SWO) will lead to additional current consumption as described here.

3) After programming the EFM32, make sure to end all debug sessions, otherwise the device will not be able to go below EM1. To disable the debugger in the EFM32 you also need to reset the device.
